Anatomy practice

Journal Entry: Mon Aug 24, 2015, 10:40 AM

I want to share little summary of anatomy practice. I'm focusing on that more than creating art actually. I feel like I need to grow and develop more basic skills. I want to evolve and create better art.
I'm practicing daily so I hope I will see some result soon in my illustrations.

Here are some poses, perspective practice, heads, more in depth muscles practice. A little bit of everything. For anatomy practice I read Michael Hampton book. In my opinion he has very good approach to drawing figure and it's very easy to follow.

God, these are so pretty! The portraits and the bodies are each very different from eahother, congrats on that! And the poses are simply fantastic...

Oh man, Michael Hampton. Didn't realize he's got a whole book of this stuff. WANT.

Where did you buy the book? Apparently the 6th edition is the latest one, but the amazon link has the 4th edition, and the one on anatomytools.com doesn't even show which edition they're selling... I'm a bit at a loss here >_>

(These studies are AMAZING by the way. Super inspired.)

Oh my friend borrowed me the book, so I was lucky actually ^^
I think every edition will work. I think that all the important basis will be in every book - like his approach to drawing figure.  So I guess any version will be great to start.

Well, yeah, sure, true! Better than nothing. Just wondering why NONE of the stores listed at his official website updated the book to the latest edition, kinda lame. Thought maybe there was something I was missing (maybe still am). Oh well.
Thanks anyways!
